Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu airport and transfer to Hotel:
Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital. You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel; here you will be formally introduced to your Guide and the activities to be enjoyed over the next few days. We will also ask for your passport photographs and any other details required for your trek permits, at this stage.
Day 02 : Full day guided tour in Kathmandu valley:
After breakfast, you will start an interesting tour around Kathmandu. We will arrange a guide of your chosen language to give you a tour and introduction to our rich culture amongst our ancient and fascinating history and religion. In our sightseeing tour you go to Swayambhunath (Monkey Tembple), Pashupatinath , Boudhanath and Kathmandu Durbar square.
Day 03 : Drive to Pokhara & stay overnight:
Drive or fly to Pokhara. Pokhara is situated on the side of Lake Fewa, it is a beautiful area with Fishtail mountain (Machhapuchhare) rising not far behind within the Annapurna range. Only 200km from Kathmandu it can take 6 hours by bus and ½ hrs by plane.
Day 04 : Drive to Nayapool & trek to Tikhedhunga (1577 ):
Trek from Pokhara to Nayapul by car which takes one and half hours drive. Now you begin your trek from Nayapul (1050m.) to Tikhedhunga (1577 m.) via Birethanti (1065m.) which takes about four and half hours. After breakfast at hotel you could drive by car or van for one and half hours to Nayapul. Then you start your trekking. The first part of your trek is easy passing through numerous small villages and settlements. Afterwards you could ascend gently to the final destination of the day. The majority people here are Gurung and their religion is Buddhist. They are engaged in agricultural activities, tourism business and some in Gorkha and Indian regiments.
Day 05 : Tikhedunga to Ghorepani(2855 m):
Trek from Tirkhedhunga to Ghorepani (2675 m.) and it takes about six hours. To begin your trek, you could ascend steeply for the early 2 hours and then ascend gently passing through Ulleri (2070m.) and Banthanti, Magar villages. On the way, you could see good view of Machhapuchhre or Fish Tail (6997m.), Huinchuli (6441m.), and Annapurna (7219m.) South. Now your trail is quite easier passing through forest and descends gently up to the final camp. You could see some of the wild life such as monkey and various species of birds.
Day 06 : Ghorepani to Tadapani (2680 m):
Early wake up and walk up to Poon Hill for one hour to observe the. Sun-rise and a magnificent Mountain View and walk back to Ghorepani for breakfast and start trekking to Tadapani and o/n lodge.
Day 07 : Tadapani to Ghandruk (1900 m):
After enjoying spectacular views from Tadapani we trek passing through the deep mossy forest toward Ghandruk village. It is one of the most renowned settlements of Gurung tribe of Nepal and cultural inhabitant of the Annapurna trail.
Day 08 : Ghandruk to Nayapool and drive to Pokhara:
Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul via Birethanti which takes about 5 hours. This day you trek descend through Kimshe to Shaulo Bazaar. From here your trail goes quite flat until you retrace back to Birethanti. You need to walk almost half an hour to get to Nayapul. Drive from Nayapul to Pokhara by taxi. Stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
Day 09 : Drive/Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel:
After breakfast in the morning you say goodbye to Pokhara and head back to bustling Kathmandu by car or private bus (There is an option to fly). In the afternoon free day of your own. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 10 : Drive to airport for international departure:
Departure/ drive to airport (or you can stay as longer as your time permits).
