Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu Airport & Transfer to Hotel:
Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital. You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel; here you will be formally introduced to your Guide and the activities to be enjoyed over the next few days. We will also ask for your passport photographs and any other details required for your trek permits, at this stage.
Day 02 : Full Day Guided Tour in Kathmandu Valley:
After breakfast, you will start an interesting tour around Kathmandu. We will arrange a guide of your chosen language to give you a tour and introduction to our rich culture amongst our ancient and fascinating history and religion. In our sightseeing tour you go to Swayambhunath (Monkey Tembple), Pashupatinath , Boudhanath and Kathmandu Durbar square.
Day 03 : Kathmandu –Dhunche (1966m)
Travelling through Trishuli (Nuwakot) today the journey length will depend on the season and the number of landslides caused by heavy rains. On a good day it will take you 7 to 8 hours. The views on the way are very pretty.
Day 04 : Dhunche to Syabru Gaun (2581m)
Trek from Dhunche to Syabru Gaon (2581m.) which takes about five and half hours. Trek to Syabru Gaon (6950ft, 2120m). The trek today is very leisurely through forests and terraced hill slopes. As you enter Syabru, you descend to the ridgeline that separates the Langtang Khola from the Trisuli River. Syabru is a beautiful village stretched out along the ridgeline. You will continue through the village to your campsite about fifteen minutes beyond on the slopes below the village. The sunset is spectacular, brilliantly backlighting the houses perched on the ridgeline above. From here you can enjoy spectacular view of Lantang Lirung (7245m.), Tibetan Himal ranges and so on.
Day 05 : Syabru Gaun to Lama Hotel(2470m)
Trek from Syabru Gaon to Lama Hotel (2470m.) and it takes about five hours. The trail descends along the ridge on Syabru's main street and then drop to the Ghopche Khola (2050 m.) and again descends to the Landslide (1810m.). Afterwards, you trek ascends gently to Rimche (2400m.) through Bamboo (1960m.) and at the end your trail is level to the Lama Hotel. En route you could see red pandas, monkey and bear if you are lucky. There are few lodges and shops which provides the trekker supplies
Day 06 : Lama Hotel To Langtang Village (3430m)
Your gentle climb to begin with soon steepens high above the river to Ghora Tabela. (2970m). You will soon find yourself in open country with scattered Tamang settlements. You will have climbed nearly 100m today relatively steadily. The village here is home to some yak herds and cheese factories, worth exploring if you have the energy.
Day 07 : Langtang Village To Kyanjing (3870m)
You will climb to the ridge this morning marked with a big chorten and some Mani walls, from here you will have views of Kyanjing Gompa and the icefall from Langtang Lirung surrounded by snowy mountains. You will be walking for around 3 hours today so time to explore the area this afternoon.
Day 08 : Rest Day
Rest day at Kyangjin Gompa and excursion in and around. This is day to rest and explore the area. You can visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces and tumbling glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyangjin Ri [4350m], directly behind the village, for a breath-taking panorama of the Langtang peaks.
Day 09 : Kuanjing Gompa to Tserko Ri –Kyanjing
Trek and climb upto Tserko Ri (5033m.) which takes about 5 hours to see the outstanding views of surrounding peaks and back to Kyangin Gompa.
Day 10 : Kyanjing Gompa to Negang(4000m)
Trek Kyanjing Gompa to Ngegang(4000m.) which takes about 5 hours. There you can not see any villages. The trail goes on ascending and area is covered with few natural vegetation. Since there are not available any lodge, you need to camp
Day 11 : Ngegang to Keldang(5106m)
Trek Ngegang to Keldang (5106m.) via Ganja La (5100m.) which takes about 5 hours. This day is comparatively strenuous as you need to cross the Ganja la pass. On the Ganja la pass, you can find it covered with snowy ice most of the times through out the year. You need to camp.
Day 12 : Keldang To Dukpu(4080m)
Trek Keldang to Dukpu(4080m.) which takes about 5 and half hours. Your camping site will be inside the forest. This day will be long day walking along ridge, grassland, very silent, amazing views of Mountains
Day 13 : Dukpu to Tarkegyang(2740m)
Trek Dukpu to Tarkeghyang( 2740m.) Trail descends about 200mtrs, climb the 4100m pass. Views from Pass are spectacular to the Annapurna Region and Mt. Everest region too. From pass trail descends through pine forest, rhododendron forest past tiny herder's settlement to Tarkeghyang. You can visit one of the oldest Buddhist monastery and Sherpa villages. These villages are well settled where friendly and cheerful natured people inhabit.
Day 14 : Tarkeghyang to Shermanthang(2621m)
A 4 hour walk today and you will find the trail is relatively easy following flat ground and through beautiful forests. Shermanthang is another pretty village with ancient monasteries, from the northern end of the village you will see views of Jugal Himal.
Day 15 : Shermanthang to Melamchi Pul (846m)
You drop 1730m today over 2 hours, passing many chortens and meadows. Eventually you will reach Kakani, the last Sherpa village. You are now entering the lowlands where Brahmin and Cheetri are the dominant tribes. The trail descends from here to Melamchi Pul.
Day 16 : Melamchi pul to Kathmandu
Your journey today is fir six hours long . You will be taken to your hotel on arrival in Kathmandu
Day 17 : Kathmandu free day of your own.
Enjoy a day exploring some of the quieter streets of Kathmandu, stocking up on souvenirs and presents for those back home. This evening you have a farewell dinner, you will be picked up in good time.
Day 18 : Final Departure.
You will be met at your hotel and taken to the airport in good time to meet your flight home.
